Why the name Proskuneo?
The Greek word προσκυνέω (proskuneó) means to bow down and kiss the master's hand in reverence, or to bow down in worship. As believers in Jesus Christ, everything that we do is an act of worship, and we aim to live a life that models Jesus to everyone we meet. As worship leaders at our local church in Mount Pleasant, NC, Darin & Marisa put worship of our Creator at the center of just about everything. Our photography aims to help capture moments of your lives, while also standing in confirmation that each of us is made in the image of God.

What began as a simple hobby has evolved into a passion for capturing the life through the lens. With over a decade of experience in event and portrait photography, and numerous genres for fun, Darin has honed his craft to deliver images that are both vivid and emotionally resonant.
Darin lives in Concord, NC with his wife Cassandra, 2 children and everyone's favorite fluffy companion, Lucy.
